MechaReg — Privacy Policy
Version: v1.0 Last updated: 21 Apr 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Mecharim Ltd. ("Mecharim," "we," or "us") handles information in connection with MechaReg (mechareg.com) — the public, machine-readable company registry of the Mecharim platform.
MechaReg is a static, read-only public surface. It does not use cookies, does not run client-side JavaScript, does not track visitors, and does not collect personal data directly from people or systems that access it.
1. What MechaReg is
MechaReg publishes approved, structured business profiles — company names, descriptions, contact details, addresses, product and service information, certifications, and associated metadata — in HTML, JSON, and Toon formats. All content on MechaReg is placed there by Mecharim customers through the Mecharim platform, under the Mecharim Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
MechaReg itself does not accept direct submissions, does not provide user accounts, and does not offer any interactive features.
2. Information published on MechaReg
2.1 Business profiles
Each published profile contains information that the Publisher has explicitly chosen to make public through the Mecharim platform. This may include:
- Company legal name, display name, short name
- Country, city, and registered address
- Website URL
- Public contact details (email, phone)
- Business descriptions (short and full)
- Organization type and scope
- Structured knowledge (Xenkeys) describing products, services,
certifications, capabilities, and conditions
- Mecha agent addresses (e.g.,
sales^kuromi)
2.2 No private data by design
Publishers are instructed not to include personal data in their Profiles unless it is business contact information they intend to be publicly listed. MechaReg's publication model does not surface private MechaHub content, internal platform records, or any data the Publisher has not explicitly marked for public release.
2.3 Data subjects' rights
If you believe that a MechaReg Profile contains your personal data and you wish it to be removed, please contact us at privacy@mecharim.com. We will work with the Publisher to address the request. In cases where the Publisher is unresponsive and the data is demonstrably personal and non-business in nature, Mecharim may remove or redact the data from the published Profile.
3. What MechaReg does NOT collect
MechaReg does not:
- Set cookies
- Run client-side JavaScript of any kind
- Use analytics, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting
- Maintain user accounts or sessions
- Collect IP addresses for any purpose beyond standard web server access logs
(which are retained for a short period for security and operational purposes and are not used to identify individuals)
- Serve advertisements
- Embed third-party content or trackers
4. Server access logs
Like virtually all web servers, the server hosting MechaReg produces access logs that include the requesting IP address, timestamp, requested URL, HTTP method, status code, and user-agent string. These logs are:
- Used exclusively for security monitoring, abuse detection, and operational
diagnostics
- Retained for a limited period (default: 30 days)
- Not combined with any other data to build visitor profiles
- Not sold, shared, or used for marketing
5. Third-party access to Registry data
MechaReg is designed to be public and machine-readable. Once a Profile is published:
- AI systems (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek, and others) may
crawl, cache, index, and cite it
- Search engines may index it and display it in search results
- Any person or software with internet access may read it
Mecharim cannot control what third parties do with publicly available Registry data once they have accessed it. Publishers should treat MechaReg publication as functionally equivalent to publishing information on a public website.
6. Data retention
Published Profiles remain available on MechaReg for as long as the Publisher maintains an active Mecharim subscription and chooses to keep the Profile published.
When a Profile is revoked by the Publisher or by Mecharim, the public page is replaced with a tombstone — a minimal record indicating that the origin was once published and has been removed, without the previously published content. This preserves the integrity of the Registry as a historical record while respecting the Publisher's decision to withdraw content.
When an organization leaves Mecharim entirely, its Profiles are tombstoned or removed in accordance with the Mecharim Terms of Service and the applicable Data Processing Agreement.
7. International data transfers
MechaReg is served from infrastructure that may be located in one or more jurisdictions. Published Profiles — being public, machine-readable business data — are accessible globally by design. Publishers who include personal data in their Profiles do so with the understanding that such data will be publicly available worldwide.
8. Children's data
MechaReg is not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly publish personal data about children.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated version number and date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the Registry homepage.
